Sha Na Now celebrates the best of the classic rock-n-roll music from the 50’s through the 60’s. With front man Frankie Adel – former lead singer from Sha Na Na – bringing his dynamic stage presence, this band will keep you dancing all night long.

Our collective experience includes working with some of music’s greats such as: Celine Dion, Hall & Oates, Huey Lewis, Beach Boys, Paul Anka, Kenny Rogers and more. Our goal is to ignite music memories from your own Glory Days. We fill the house with good vibes, good crowds and rockin-good times!

Sha Na Now is a theatrical rock and roll show and high energy tribute to the 50’s doo-woo band Sha Na Now of Woodstock fame. It is performed by the members of Glory Dayz from Sonoma and Marin counties, Northern California.

Fronted by former Sha Na Na lead singer Frankie Adel and his wife, Dianne Adel, Sha Na Now brings together a powerhouse of seasoned musicians who are raising the bar for live music in the north bay.

More than just a typical party band performance, Sha Na Now brings together polished vocals, tight musicianship, and a healthy dose of nostalgia. The six accomplished performers are known collectively for delivering engaging and dynamic shows filled with harmony-rich rock, pop, and doo-wop favorites.

Much like its legendary inspiration Sha Na Na, what sets the show Sha Na Now apart is its shared vocal leadership. With Frankie, Dianne, Bruce Wilmott, and Dave Bringhurst all taking turns at singing lead, the players offer an ever-changing mix of vocal styles. Adding a vocal baritone is John Lawrence. The harmonies are notably strong, with the five vocalists blending seamlessly, creating lush arrangements that elevate their live performances.

Frankie Adel provides the charisma and energy that fans of Sha Na Na will recognize, while Dianne Adel adds her own unique vocal style and professional stage presence. Both are equally comfortable leading or supporting, giving the band a well-rounded sound. Bruce Wilmott’s soulful bass lines are matched by his rich vocals, and Dave Bringhurst’s pop-rock influence adds a tight, driven punch to the band’s more high-energy moments.

Each performer in Sha Na Now brings years of experience and a distinct musical identity, resulting in a diverse sound that appeals to a wide audience.

John Lawrence (guitar, vocals) is known for his soaring solos and impeccable tone. Residing in Petaluma, John is a highly regarded guitarist in Northern California, with credits that include scoring hundreds of TV shows and movies. His early work with the Bay Area band Frontline saw him opening for major acts in the 1970s and ’80s, and he remains a fixture in the local music scene.

Jimmy Hobson (drums), based in Fairfax, is an in-demand session drummer whose career includes platinum records for his work with Hall & Oates and Celine Dion. His polished playing and wide stylistic range are key to the band’s dynamic rhythm section.

Dave Bringhurst (keyboard, vocals) lives in Santa Rosa and brings a singer-songwriter’s touch to Sha Na Now. His smooth vocals and thoughtful playing are reminiscent of Elton John and Kenny Loggins, adding a reflective dimension to the band’s sound.

Bruce Wilmott (bass, vocals) from Novato has collaborated extensively with Davey Pattison of Robin Trower and Gamma fame. His steady bass playing and smooth vocal presence give the band depth and versatility.
