Shake off the doldrums of winter with beautiful music! Mother Lode Friends of Music present solo pianist Jason Jeffrey in concert for an afternoon of beautiful music by timeless composers, Sunday, March 23, 2025, 3:00 pm at the Sutter Creek Theater, Sutter Creek.

Jason Jeffrey and flutist Sandra Betti will perform a selection of classical works by favorite composers including Bach, Mozart, Chopin, Poulenc, Debussy and Beethoven.

Jason Jeffrey is a soloist who performs throughout the Mother Lode region. He is a returning performer for the Bach Sonora Festival and an accomplished accompanist, working with church and community choirs including the Pinecone Performers in Groveland, CA. He teaches at the Reeder Music Academy in Danville and he revived the Cathedral Concert Series in 2017 at the Cathedral of the Annunciation in Stockton, a series dedicated to showcasing local professional musicians and the beauty of music by offering a variety of genres ranging from classical, to jazz, to Mexican art songs, and contemporary works.

Guest flutist Sandra Betti has performed with the Cal Berkeley Symphony and the Artesian Pops Orchestra in Los Angeles, and toured Europe with classical guitarist Sergio Funes. Since moving to Sonora, she has become a major figure in local musical circles, including directing the Sonora Bach Festival and serving as Music Director at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
The Sutter Creek Theatre, 44 Main Street, Sutter Creek, is an intimate setting for these accomplished musicians. Please join us for a lovely afternoon of beautiful classical music, ushering in a new season for Friends of Music! Admission to the concert is free.
